Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Pharmacist for their Uniondale, NY location.
Responsibilities:
Accept and dispense prescription medications.
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
Ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.
Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.
Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
Compound medications for external or internal use.
Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.
Identify patients’ drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
