A community pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to join its team. The practice serves an established patient base and is supported by experienced pharmacy technicians, modern dispensing systems, and a collaborative leadership team.
This opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacist who values medication safety, accuracy, patient relationships, and a professional work environment.
Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
Screen prescriptions for possible interactions, contraindications, and other medication-related concerns.
Administer immunizations and support pharmacy-based clinical services.
Supervise, guide, and mentor pharmacy technicians.
Maintain accurate prescription records and dispensing documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Support daily pharmacy operations and maintain high standards of patient care.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the applicable state.
Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Strong attention to detail and medication safety awareness.
Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
Retail pharmacy experience is welcome but not required.
