Description

NOW HIRING: Remote Clinical Pharmacist – Prior Authorization

 

A-Line Staffing is hiring 50 Licensed/Registered Pharmacist to support a high-volume, remote Prior Authorization and Coverage Determination team remotely.

This role is responsible for reviewing pharmacy benefit requests, interpreting clinical criteria, evaluating Medicare Part D coverage determinations, and ensuring accurate, timely decisions while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), prior authorizations, managed care, or clinical pharmacy operations and thrives in a productivity-driven remote environment with strict turnaround times.

Prior authorization experience in a PBM/specialty pharmacy or health plan is REQUIRED.

 

SCHEDULE:

Training (6 weeks): Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT
Regular Shift: Monday–Friday | 7AM – 10:00 PM (local time zone)

Job Responsibilities

  • Review prior authorization requests and supporting documentation
  • Apply clinical knowledge to assist with medication approval decisions
  • Communicate with providers, pharmacies, and internal teams
  • Handle inbound calls and escalations as needed
  • Document case activity accurately and efficiently
  • Stay current on drug therapies, disease states, and pharmacy guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacist license (any U.S. state, in good standing)
  • REQUIRED: Prior authorization experience (PBM, managed care/health plan, or specialty pharmacy)
  • Solid clinical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and distraction free from home
  • High-speed internet required
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
