As a
Bilingual Pharmacist in Charge, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Dispense pharmaceuticals accurately and safely in accordance with prescriptions and applicable regulations.
- Review prescriptions for appropriateness, accuracy, and legality.
- Organize pharmacy operations and maintain an efficient and compliant work environment.
- Manage medication inventory and ensure appropriate availability of pharmaceutical products.
- Counsel customers regarding medications, proper usage, dosage, and potential considerations.
- Prepare medications accurately according to prescribed dosage and instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient profiles and pharmacy records.
- Stay current with HIPAA and Fraud, Waste & Abuse requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and facility policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate
Bilingual Pharmacist in Charge who enjoys your work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal
Bilingual Pharmacist in Charge would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, active Pharmacist License in the required state.
- Minimum 3 5 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
- Previous retail pharmacy experience.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong leadership, communication, management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience using a pharmacy Patient Management System.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, prescription processing, and medication management.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and Fraud, Waste & Abuse requirements.
- Ability to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Previous pharmacy leadership experience is preferred.
