    PHARMACIST IN CHARGE (PIC) | FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY JOB OVERVIEW

    Seeking an experienced and bilingual Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee daily pharmacy operations, lead pharmacy staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care. This leadership role is responsible for managing pharmacy workflows, supervising Pharmacy Technicians, maintaining inventory controls, and ensuring all pharmacy activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

    • Position Title: Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
    • Employment Type: Full-Time

    • Schedule: Monday-Friday
    • Typical Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
    • Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000 annually

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
    • Active Florida Pharmacist License required
    • Fluent in both English and Spanish
    • Minimum 3-5 years of retail pharmacy management experience
    • Previous pharmacy leadership experience preferred
    • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, inventory control, and regulatory compliance
    • Experience utilizing Pharmacy Patient Management Systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong leadership, management, and organizational abilities
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legality
    • Dispense medications in accordance with regulatory and professional standards
    • Maintain oversight of medication inventory, storage, labeling, and expiration monitoring
    • Counsel patients regarding medication use, dosage, interactions, and treatment plans
    • Maintain accurate patient medication records and profiles
    • Supervise and direct Pharmacy Technicians and support staff
    • Manage employee scheduling and staffing needs
    • Participate in employee coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action processes
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Fraud Waste & Abuse requirements, and all pharmacy regulations
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational policies
    • Monitor pharmacy workflow to maximize efficiency and patient service
    • Support continuous quality improvement and operational excellence initiatives
    IDEAL CANDIDATE
    • Bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish
    • At least 3 years of retail pharmacy management experience
    • Strong leadership and team development skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to make sound clinical and operational decisions independently
    • Commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Ability to stand for extended periods
    • Frequent use of hands for medication preparation and dispensing activities
    • Fine motor skills required for pharmacy operations
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
