We are committed to patient-centered care, teamwork, integrity, and excellence while creating a safe and supportive environment for our patients and employees.Position OverviewThe Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for accurately reviewing and verifying medication orders, monitoring medication therapy, providing drug information, and supporting safe and effective medication use throughout the hospital.This position also supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel, participates in medication-use and process-improvement initiatives, and serves as a resource for pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance. In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, the Clinical Pharmacist may be required to assume essential pharmacy management responsibilities.ScheduleThis is a full-time night position working a 7 days on/7 days off schedule.The 7-on/7-off schedule means the pharmacist works seven consecutive nights followed by seven consecutive days off, providing a consistent rotating schedule while maintaining full-time coverage.QualificationsEducationDoctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required.Licensure & CertificationsCurrent Illinois Pharmacist license required.Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.ExperienceHealth-system pharmacy experience preferred.New graduates are welcome to apply.CompensationAnnual Salary Range: $106,891 - $160,326Compensation is determined based on several factors, including education, experience, certifications, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
