Pharmaceutical Construction Project Manager

Our client is a leading construction and project services firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across the life sciences, pharmaceutical, industrial, and advanced manufacturing sectors. They have a long-standing presence within the New Jersey pharmaceutical market and partner with some of the world's most recognized life sciences organizations.

Lead pharmaceutical construction projects from planning and preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.

Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and reporting requirements.

Coordinate with owners, facility managers, engineers, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.

Oversee site logistics and construction activities within an active pharmaceutical campus environment.

Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and site-specific operating procedures.

Drive project execution while minimizing disruption to ongoing manufacturing and facility operations.

Review construction documents, project specifications, and change management requests.

Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

Manage subcontractors and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Support utility infrastructure, facility upgrades, and site improvement projects as required.

10+ years of experience as a Project Manager within construction, engineering, or capital project delivery.

Experience managing projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, or regulated industrial environments.

Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.

Sitework and utility infrastructure experience is highly preferred, including work involving underground utilities, campus infrastructure, and related civil improvements.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments and pharmaceutical facility requirements is highly desirable.

Demonstrated career stability with reputable contractors, construction managers, or engineering firms.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Compensation up to $185K+ depending upon experience level
