Role: Pharmaceutical Production Technician - $30.00 to $32/hour

Varying shifts: 10 pm to 6:30 am; 12am to 8am; 3am to 11:30 am; 6am to 2:30 pm

Reports to: PET Facility Manager

Role Summary:

As a Pharmaceutical Production Technician, you will play a vital role in the operation, production and QC of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The position involves maintenance and repairs of some equipment such as chemistry modules and analytical equipment. You will be expected to assist in facility maintenance, system repairs, PMs, and system modifications to increase your expertise and ensure system reliability.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Operate cyclotron for PET production.

  2. Operate and maintain synthesis modules and analytical equipment.

  3. Perform PET radiopharmaceutical production in cleanroom ISO 7 and ISO 5 environment, and Quality Control (QC) in cGMP environment.

  4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory commitments and company policies and procedures including cGMP and radiation safety.

  5. Maintain records to comply with FDA requirements.

  6. Clean and maintain production areas (hot cells, laminar flow hoods, etc.)

Job Requirements Skills Education:

Academic background in chemistry, sciences or completion of training at an advanced electronics school or military training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in laboratories, medical devices, analytical instrumentation (HPLC and GC) or equivalent preferred

Experience working with ionizing radiation and radioactive equipment a plus.

Experience troubleshooting, performing repairs and maintaining equipment.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Working knowledge of cGMP environment and regulations.
