    Job Description

    Position Overview: This position is responsible for the operations and profitability of assigned locations. This role includes customer relationship development, personnel growth, facility and equipment optimization, financial management and short- and longer-term planning for the locations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Include but are not limited to
    • Plans, directs, and manages staffing and development of employees by effectively communicating company strategic goals; conducting effective and timely performance appraisals; and ensuring all training for employees is completed.
    • Assumes overall responsibility for P&L/budget, safety, sales, and personnel.
    • Instills and upholds a customer service culture within the company that fosters retention, relationships and loyalty, positioning Keystone for increased growth opportunities.
    • Establishes and executes Keystone's business plan in a way that best utilizes the resources of the company, producing progressive results through growth and retention.
    • Ensures compliance with company safety policies and procedures and follows applicable laws and regulations.
    • Consistently reinforces safety messages by conducting behavioral observations, safety briefings, "tailgate" meetings, and facility safety walk-throughs.
    • Manage a program of safety and equipment maintenance to avoid breakdowns and limit safety hazards.
    • Develop and implement systems that reduce expenses and maximize the utilization of all assets within the assigned territory.
    • Monitor the daily pricing and contracting of refined fuels and lubricants to effectively manage inventory risk.
    • Serve as a liaison between the company and vendors, distributors, patrons, and employees.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends or changes to accurately answer patron inquiries and to increase innovation and ensure compliance it being met.

    • Controls operating expenses by monitoring employee productivity through use of the distribution system, service scheduling calendar, etc. to manage and optimize personnel and vehicle expenses.
    • Coordinate to obtain required state/local licenses/permits/certifications for work being performed. Ability to deal with code enforcement officials, regulatory personnel and permitting jurisdictions.

    Skills and Qualifications:
    • Prior management and sales experience preferred
    • Preferred but not required: Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement, will ask to get within a year if not already obtained.
    • Knowledge of DOT regulations
    • Computer skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reporting documents, professional journals, safety/technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Familiar with contracts, leases, agreements for service, and vendor requirements.
    • Ability to lead and manage a geographically dispersed group of employees
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees as well as customers.
    • Proven history of ethical business decision and integrity.
    • Within first six months in the position, complete appropriate training, and certification requirements.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record verified by MVR and able to obtain and maintain all required certifications, licenses and permits.
    • The candidate will be highly responsible, flexible, and dedicated to delivering results under pressure along with the ability and willingness to work long hours and be on-call as business conditions warrant.

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree (B.S.); and 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
