Description:• Join our team as a PET/CT Technologist in a dynamic and patient-focused environment.
• This contract position requires expertise in nuclear medicine in a modern setting, with a schedule split between Manhattan and Brooklyn.
• The role involves performing diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging.
• Order and assure proper dose of radionuclides for patients.
• Explain test procedures and safety precautions to patients.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or medical issues.
• Safeguard patient property and health information.
• Maintain professional behavior and respect for patient boundaries.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements:• Current ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
• State Nuclear Medicine License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification.
• Venipuncture certification/permit.
