You'll be paid while you learn, receive support earning your Virginia Pest Control License, and develop the technical and customer-service skills needed to manage your own service route.

The Opportunity

Get paid to learn a skilled trade, earn your Virginia license, and build toward greater responsibility and earning potential.

Your first 30-45 days include paid training and company-provided training materials. From there, you'll apply what you've learned in the field, develop your own route-management skills, and become increasingly confident diagnosing and solving pest problems for customers.

As your experience and certifications grow, so can your responsibilities and earning potential.

What You'll Accomplish

As you become established in the role, you'll:

• Learn to inspect homes and businesses, identify pest activity, and determine the likely causes of infestations.
• Build the skills to independently manage a daily service route across South Hill and surrounding communities.
• Solve customer problems by recommending appropriate treatment and prevention options.
• Develop confidence communicating directly with customers and explaining your recommendations.
• Apply EPA-approved products safely while following established safety and environmental procedures.
• Build a track record of reliable service, accurate documentation, and satisfied customers.

By the end of your first 6-12 months, you'll be building toward:

What You'll Bring

You don't need prior pest control experience. We can teach the technical side of the job if you bring the right approach.

You'll be a strong fit if you:

• Have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Show up reliably, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing quality work.
• Enjoy solving practical problems rather than doing the same thing every day.
• Are comfortable working outdoors throughout the year.
• Can handle physical work such as standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working in crawl spaces or attics.
• Are comfortable interacting directly with customers.
• Can pass a standard pre-employment background check and meet Virginia registration requirements.

Previous pest control experience or a Virginia Pest Control Technician license is a plus, but it is not required.

Compensation and Benefits

• $19.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and Virginia licensing.
• $200-$400+ additional monthly earning potential through sales bonuses, tips, and seasonal overtime.

Work Location / Schedule

• Location: South Hill, Virginia, serving South Hill and surrounding communities.
• Work style: Field-based and on the road.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday day shift.
• Occasional weekend and seasonal overtime may be available during peak spring and summer months.
