Pest Control Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Pest Control Technician to provide exceptional service while protecting our clients' homes and businesses from pest activity. This role is responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, implementing effective treatment solutions, and delivering a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and conditions conducive to infestations.
• Identify common pests, including rodents, termites, ants, mosquitoes, and other nuisance pests, and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
• Complete service reports accurately and provide recommendations for ongoing pest prevention.
• Measure treatment areas and calculate material requirements as needed.
• Work closely with the Client Care team to develop treatment recommendations and estimates.
• Apply pesticides, insecticides, granules, baits, and other treatment products in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and product label instructions.
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform minor exclusion work, including sealing entry points and recommending preventative measures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and service documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills for estimating materials and treatment areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other physically demanding environments.
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background screenings and drug testing in accordance with company policies.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
