Pest Control Lead Technician - Greensboro

Required Qualifications

• high School Diploma or its equivalent
• current or previous possession of a Registered Technician ID Card
• 1 year as a Pest Control Technician A or equivalent
• current Certified Applicator for the state of North Carolina or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days
• thorough knowledge of Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA)
• knowledge of entomology
• thorough knowledge of FDA Food Codes and the Code of Federal Regulations concerning food safety
• thorough knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the control and handling of urban wildlife and urban pest birds. (US Fish and Wildlife Services)
• ability to be exposed to confidential information and matters

• be able to use a snorkel, boom or high lift (from 50 to 130 feet)

• willingness to travel overnight
• willingness to work various work schedules, weekends, nights and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Entomology or a science related field
• structural Pest Control license for the state of North Carolina
• 5 years as a Certified Applicator

Manufacturing
