What You'll Do
As the Personal Training Manager, you'll lead the club's Personal Training department by developing your team, growing revenue, and ensuring every member receives an exceptional fitness experience.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop an exceptional team of Personal Trainers.
- Coach and mentor trainers through regular one-on-one meetings and team development sessions.
- Foster a culture built on accountability, professionalism, and outstanding member service.
- Create career growth opportunities for your team while helping them maximize their earning potential.
- Build schedules that support both member demand and business goals.
Member Experience
- Ensure every member receives world-class coaching and personalized fitness programming.
- Support trainers in delivering safe, effective, and results-driven programs.
- Be the fitness expert and leader within your club.
- Help members stay motivated, engaged, and committed to reaching their goals.
Business Growth
- Lead the Personal Training department to achieve monthly revenue and member retention goals.
- Monitor key performance metrics and develop action plans to drive continued growth.
- Train and coach your team on fitness consultations, program design, and supplement sales.
- Ensure all training programs, assessments, and member tracking systems are executed with excellence.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- Nationally accredited Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NFPT, ISSA, NESTA, IFPA, or equivalent)
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-2 years of Personal Training experience
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Consultative sales experience
- Experience coaching teams to achieve performance goals
Physical Requirements
- Ability to demonstrate proper exercise techniques and coaching cues.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Move throughout the club and remain active throughout the workday.
- Occasional travel (up to 5%) for meetings and training.
