The Part-Time Coach exists to deliver high-quality coaching during sessions so clients feel supported, safe, and confident in their training. This role ensures consistency in the client experience while upholding the gym’s coaching standards.
This position is ideal for a coach who wants to grow their skills, gain experience, and be part of a professional coaching team without needing full-time hours.
Outcomes & Results (What Success Looks Like)
30 Days- Understands and follows the gym’s coaching systems
- Runs sessions on time and according to standards
- Builds rapport with assigned clients
90 Days- Coaches sessions independently and confidently
- Delivers clear coaching cues and corrections
- Maintains high client engagement during sessions
Ongoing- Clients feel coached not just supervised
- Sessions are organized, safe, and efficient
- Client attendance and satisfaction remain strong
Core Responsibilities (Tasks)- Coach assigned training sessions using the gym’s programming
- Create a safe, positive, and motivating environment
- Set up and break down equipment before and after sessions
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Uphold facility cleanliness and organization standards

Reporting & Support- Reports to the Director of Training or Head Coach
- Receives onboarding and ongoing coaching education
- Regular feedback to support development
