University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Ida, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and transfers safely and with dignity
- Help with light housekeeping duties including meal preparation and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a related care giving role preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and safely assist with physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for certain assignments
- Ability to pass background check
