University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Clawson, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals and family members.
- Document care activities and client progress accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar role preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong commitment to client care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements.
