Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 Base Salary
 
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Manager to support the design, enhancement, and ongoing management of Personal Lines insurance products, including Auto, Homeowners, and Umbrella lines. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, profitability, and market competitiveness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Personal Lines product development, excellent analytical skills, and experience collaborating with actuarial teams to evaluate product performance and recommend strategic enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of Personal Lines insurance products.
• Identify and recommend new product opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Develop short- and long-term product roadmaps.
• Analyze product performance, market trends, and competitor offerings.
• Create data-driven recommendations to improve product profitability and competitiveness.
• Partner with actuarial, underwriting, claims, compliance, IT, operations, and project management teams to implement product changes.
• Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership.
• Ensure product initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
• Support communication of product changes to internal stakeholders and policyholders.
• Oversee successful execution and implementation of product enhancements.

 
Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Personal Lines product development, product management, actuarial, analytics, or a related insurance function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business challenges.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
