Responsibilities:
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships through friendly, helpful, and prompt customer service.
- Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, or by phone.
- Actively prospect and round accounts, as well as network for new clients, including win backs.
- Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary with inspection, photos, and other documentation. Present policies to insured and educate them on coverages and rates.
- Document activity with accounts in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
- Have a valid NC Insurance License
- 2 years of Personal Lines account management experience.
- Commercial Lines experience is a plus.
- Organized, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving
- Coachable
- Have excellent time management skills
- Computer proficiency including agency management systems.
