Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

We are looking for an experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and being a trusted resource for clients. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable balancing customer service, new business, and day-to-day account servicing in a professional and friendly environment.
What You’ll Do
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with questions, requests, and insurance needs
- Welcome and assist walk-in clients with a warm, professional approach
- Quote and write new personal lines business
- Service existing personal lines accounts, including policy changes, certificates, billing questions, and other client requests
- Review policies and coverage to help clients understand their insurance
- Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve issues and obtain information
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Follow up on new business opportunities and outstanding service items
- Provide a consistently positive client experience from the first interaction through ongoing account service
What We’re Looking For
- Prior personal lines insurance experience is required
- Strong knowledge of personal lines products, coverage, and terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to confidently handle both new business and existing account servicing
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Professional, personable, and comfortable communicating with clients by phone and in person
- A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed
- Active insurance licensing is preferred
