Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager Position Description
This is is a fully and permanently remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere on the East Coast but must have a New York State Property and Casualty License and be familiar with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.
Regional brokerage / insurance agency looking for an experienced personal lines account manager. They provide a full range of insurance coverage and benefits programs offered by more than 30 national carriers.
Responsibilities:
- Increasing current coverage or adding new coverage to the firm’s existing book of business.
- Marketing new and renewal business
- Positive consistent interaction with clients and markets
- Prepare renewal and new business applications & proposals
- Identify exposure and recommend appropriate solutions
- Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters
- Provide day to day client service
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience to be considered for this position
- Experience servicing personal lines clients and knowledge of personal lines markets
- Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Current NYS Property and Casualty license
- AMS 360 Software knowledge / experience is required
Compensation:
· Base salary up to $80,000 – commensurate with relevant skill set and experience
