We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to take a leadership role in the evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of plaintiff personal injury matters. This attorney will manage a significant caseload while providing strategic direction to the pre-litigation team and helping maximize outcomes for clients.

This is a highly collaborative leadership position responsible for providing day-to-day guidance to case managers and support staff. You will serve as a go-to resource on case strategy, liability, damages, insurance issues, negotiation tactics, and complex legal questions.

Oversee the pre-litigation process, including evaluation of liability, damages, causation, coverage, and overall case value.
Develop and implement effective negotiation strategies designed to maximize settlement outcomes.
Negotiate with insurance carriers, adjusters, defense counsel, and other parties.
Continuously evaluate case value as medical treatment, documentation, liability information, and damages develop.
Provide strategic direction regarding medical treatment and documentation as appropriate to the facts and circumstances of each case.
Oversee the progression of cases and ensure matters move toward resolution efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
Direct the transition of appropriate matters from pre-litigation into litigation, ensuring files are properly documented and strategically positioned.
Review and maintain detailed case notes and documentation within the firm's case management system.
Collaborate closely with case managers and support staff to ensure files are accurate, complete, and progressing appropriately.
Provide legal guidance on complex liability, causation, damages, insurance, and procedural issues.
Serve as a primary legal resource for pre-litigation team members.
Monitor team workflow, productivity, deadlines, and overall file quality.
Hold team members accountable for timely case progression, responsiveness, and quality standards.
Assist with training, mentoring, and development of pre-litigation staff.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service throughout the representation.

Job Details

Have a strong understanding of how insurance carriers evaluate and negotiate personal injury claims.
Can quickly assess liability, damages, exposure, and case value.
Are confident negotiators who know when to push, when to resolve, and when a case needs to move toward litigation.
Possess a strong sense of urgency and personal accountability.
Can effectively manage a large caseload without sacrificing quality or client service.
Are comfortable working in a metrics-driven, performance-oriented environment.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, attorneys, adjusters, and internal team members.
Demonstrate strong organization, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
