Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Personal Injury Paralegal, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing a caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
2. Gathering, analyzing, and organizing medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents.
3. Drafting demand letters, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
4. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda.
5. Assisting attorneys with trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibit preparation, and trial logistics.
6. Coordinating and maintaining communication with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
7. Utilizing case management software for tracking case progress and document management.
8. Providing general administrative and litigation support as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Personal Injury Paralegal position, you must have:

1. 2+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal, case manager, or equivalent.
2. Proficiency in drafting demand letters, demand packages, and other legal documents.
3. Experience in managing a caseload of personal injury cases, from intake to settlement or trial.
4. Strong legal research and writing skills.
5. Familiarity with medical records, personal injury laws, and legal procedures.
6. Excellent client relations skills and experience in interacting with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
7. Proficiency in using case management and document management software.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
