    Job Description: Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal

    Position Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our boutique personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing plaintiff personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while providing outstanding client service.  Candidate must be a self starter, be prepared to work in person, have a strong work ethic, seek stability and growth, and value team work.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage pre-litigation caseload from intake through resolution.

    • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demand packages, subpoenas, and correspondence.

    • Order, review, organize, and summarize medical records and billing statements.

    • Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and third party providers.

    • Coordinate case scheduling, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.

    • Maintain case calendars and ensure compliance with court deadlines.

    • Prepare settlement demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations.

    • Track liens and coordinate lien resolution.

    • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit organization, witness coordination, and trial notebooks.

    • Maintain accurate case management records and document all case activity.

    • Provide compassionate and professional client support throughout the litigation process.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience.

    • Thorough knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures and court rules.

    • Experience handling pre-litigation and litigation files.

    • Proficiency with case management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic filing systems.

    • Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance claims, and personal injury documentation.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.

    • Paralegal certificate preferred but not required with equivalent experience.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience preparing settlement demands valued at six figures or more.

    • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and health insurance lien resolution.

    • Experience preparing mediation and trial materials.

    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
