Ideal candidates are diligent and positive workers, able to work in a team atmosphere, self-starters and eager to learn and advance. This is remote but based in Boca Raton, FL, candidates must be barred and live in the state of Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of personal injury matters from inception to resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and assess the viability of potential claims.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights and options.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration proceedings.
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in the personal injury field.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active Florida bar license in good standing and must have graduated from an accredited law school.
- Must have a minimum of 2-10 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
- Must have significant law firm experience.
- Must have a strong knowledge of personal injury laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Must have excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
