Seeking an experienced personal injury attorney who is looking for a growth opportunity! Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. This is a tremendous opportunity if you want to grow. You should have at least 2 years of personal experience in personal injury including, settlement negotiations, drafting pleadings and depositions. Common sense is a must! You do not need trial experience but must be fearless and willing to learn try a case.
Compensation:$100,000 yearly to start including incentive bonuses
Responsibilities:- Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
- Modify, review, and draft demand letters, pleadings, claims, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
- Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements
- 2-5 years of litigation experience in personal injury, specifically in motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, dog bites, and other injury matters
- Client Intakes
- Assemble Demand Packages for Insurance Carriers
- Settlement Negotiations
- Court Appearances, Depositions
- Manage a team of Personal Injury Paralegals
- Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
- State license to practice law and State Bar Association membership is mandatory
- A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary
- Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
- Proficiency in computers is vital
