Responsibilities

  • Lead personal injury case investigations and gather evidence to build strong claims.

  • Strong understanding of plaintiff-side personal injury law and civil litigation

  • Experience advocating on behalf of injured clients in negligence-based claims

  • Ability to evaluate liability, damages, and case value

  • Maintain accurate case pipelines and forecast potential outcomes by territory.

  • Track performance metrics and contribute to monthly/quarterly targets.

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize demand letters and settlement agreements.

  • Litigate or support litigation strategies in court or mediation settings.

  • Provide clear client communication, updates, and expectation management.

  • Continuously update knowledge of personal injury laws, precedents, and best practices.

  • Develop legal strategies aligned with growth goals and merit-based advancement.

  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely case progression.

  • Attend clients’ appointments, court hearings, and settlement negotiations as needed.

  • Represent the firm professionally in a high-visibility, results-driven environment.

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer cases to appropriate in-house teams.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor licensure and active bar membership in relevant state(s).

  • Active CA License

  • Minimum 3–5 years of personal injury litigation experience, with record of settlements.

  • Experience handling plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through settlement or trial preferred

  • Strong litigation skills across negotiation, drafting, and trial support.

  • Ability to lead case investigations, gather evidence, and build strong claims.

  • Excellent client communication, expectation management, and empathy.

  • Proficiency in case management software and pipeline forecasting by territory.

  • Capacity to work in a high-visibility, merit-based performance culture.

  • Ability to collaborate with paralegals and support staff to accelerate timelines.

  • Proactive continuous legal education on PI laws, precedents, and best practices.

  • Willingness to attend client meetings, court appearances, and mediations as needed.
