Job Details
Responsibilities
Manage a personal injury caseload from intake and investigation through discovery, negotiation, trial, and resolution.
Develop tailored litigation strategies based on liability, damages, available evidence, and client objectives.
Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement demands, briefs, and other legal documents.
Conduct depositions and prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for testimony.
Evaluate medical records, accident reports, insurance policies, and expert opinions to support case valuation and presentation.
Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel while preparing cases to proceed to trial when appropriate.
Keep clients informed, explain legal options clearly, and provide responsive, compassionate guidance throughout their cases.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction and good standing with the relevant bar.
At least 2 years of attorney experience handling personal injury litigation.
Demonstrated trial experience, including preparing and presenting cases in court.
Strong knowledge of personal injury law, civil procedure, evidence, discovery, and settlement negotiation.
Excellent legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
