Personal Injury Attorney

Gpac is working with a growing firm that is looking to add a Personal Injury Attorney. The ideal candidate will have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful handling personal injury pre-litigation and an authentic passion for helping people. Prior experience settling cases for max value, using experts, research, & witness testimony is needed.

***Law firm open to defense attorneys as well, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to switch to plaintiff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
• Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the client's behalf when appropriate
• Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation

Qualifications:

• Membership in the South Carolina State Bar Association and a state license to practice law are mandatory
• 3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas. 
• Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
