We are working with a well-respected, successful plaintiff personal injury law firm in Ohio that is seeking experienced Litigation & Pre-Litigation Associates to join the team in Cleveland!

Base Salary: starts at $150,000/'year and can go up based on experience + monthly bonuses!
Location: 100% onsite in Cleveland, OH

Job Details

Pre-Litigation Attorney Details:

• Negotiating and settling cases in the pre-litigation stage.
• Review policies, claims and other records (i.e. medical records).
• Prepare, write, and argue legal documents, including but not limited to memos, theory of liability and demands.
• Communicate with clients to provide case status updates.
• Manage volume case load with a team of case managers and paralegals.
• Conduct and attend IME's, EUO's and recorded statements, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in Personal Injury Law; preferred 3 years+
• Ability to work independently and manage a team of case managers and paralegals.

Litigation Attorney Details:

• Conducting legal research
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and providing clear legal advice to clients
• Negotiating with insurance companies and opposing counsel
• Preparing cases for settlement or trial
• Appearing in court when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law where relevant to injury and workplace-related claims.
• Ability to provide clear, accurate Legal Advice and communicate complex legal concepts in plain language.
• Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal writing.
• Effective Negotiation skills for dealing with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Active license to practice law in Ohio
