Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily activities, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow care plans and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors
• Maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks
