Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable care professional to provide attentive support during overnight hours. In this role, you will help promote comfort, safety, and dignity for individuals who need assistance with daily living activities and routine care throughout the third shift. The ideal candidate is patient, observant, and committed to delivering respectful, person-centered support.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support as needed.
- Support individuals with overnight routines, comfort measures, and repositioning when appropriate.
- Monitor well-being and promptly report changes in condition, concerns, or incidents to the appropriate team members.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care, such as tidying living areas and maintaining a safe environment.
- Document care activities, observations, and required follow-up accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond calmly and professionally to needs that arise during the shift.
- Follow care plans, safety procedures, and organizational guidelines at all times.
- Maintain respectful communication with individuals, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- Experience in personal care, home care, assisted living, healthcare, or a related support role preferred.
- Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and reliable care.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to respond appropriately to changing needs.
- Comfort working independently during overnight hours.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow directions, care plans, and established procedures.
- Physical ability to assist with routine care tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and mobility support as needed.
