Job Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – School
Location: Sterling, VA
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 38 Weeks
Shift: Day | 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 30-minute meal break
Local Candidates Required: Yes 

Pay Range: $20-$24/hr, as per experience

Responsibilities

• Assist students with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene and toileting.
• Provide one-on-one support in the classroom and during school activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
• Monitor student safety and report any changes or concerns to school staff.
• Support feeding and other personal care needs while maintaining student dignity.
• Document daily observations and collaborate with teachers and the special education team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PCA, CNA, or school-based support experience preferred.
• Ability to work with students with physical or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate care skills.
