Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Hamden, CT

UniversaCare is hiring a personal care assistant to provide care to clients in their own homes in New Haven County. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Hiring, onboarding and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Connecticut - Hamden office at 119 Sanford Street, 2nd Floor, Hamden, CT 06514.

Pay: $16.94 to $25 per hour.

Schedule: Part-time and full-time.

What you’ll do

• Help clients at home with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Follow each client’s care plan and report changes to the office

What you need

• Caregiving experience is preferred
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
