Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver Needed – McDonough, GA

Client is a smoker and smokes on the apartment balcony; caregiver should be comfortable working in a smoking environment. We are looking for someone who values respectful communication, professionalism, and providing quality in-home support.

First Choice Homecare Agency is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional caregiver to assist a client in the McDonough area. We are looking for someone who values respectful communication, professionalism, and providing quality in-home support.


Schedule:

•  Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
•  Approx. 30 hours per week 

Client Support Needs Include:

•  Light housekeeping 
•  Laundry assistance 
•  Meal preparation oversight and safety supervision 
•  Shower supervision and fall prevention assistance 
•  Mobility support and safety monitoring 
•  Accompaniment to occasional appointments when needed 
•  General companionship and supervision 

Client Considerations:

•  Client has mobility limitations and uses mobility aids 
•  Must be comfortable assisting with safety reminders and proactive support 
•  Strong communication skills and professionalism are very important 
•  Respectful, non-judgmental care approach required 
•  Client is a smoker and smokes on the apartment balcony; caregiver should be comfortable working in a smoking environment 

Requirements:

•  Caregiving experience preferred 
•  Reliable transportation 
•  Ability to communicate professionally and consistently 
•  Compassionate, patient, and dependable 
•  PCA/CNA certification preferred but not required
