Key Carrier / Person in Charge (PIC)

Job Summary
Responsible for leading store operations during assigned shifts, including supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct employees during assigned shifts.
- Ensure cash handling accuracy including tills, safe counts, and nightly deposits.
- Assist with ordering, scheduling, and basic store administration as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, LP standards, and safety procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, resolving issues as they arise.
- Support all departments as needed (Meat, Produce, Bakery/Deli, Grocery).
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or grocery supervisory experience preferred.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Stand/walk for extended periods.
- Lift/move up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
Scheduling Expectations
Varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Success Indicators (KPIs)
- Cash handling accuracy and deposit compliance.
- Store standards maintained during shift.
- Customer service feedback.
- Adherence to LP and safety policies.
