Description

Job Title: Permitting Specialist

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Location: 777 Main Street Downtown Fort Worth

Work Schedule: 7:30-4:30 or 8:00-5:00 (1 hour lunch break)

Job Description:

  • Project management of the permitting process from start to finish.
  • Management of incoming permitting requests, keeping them organized and on track.
  • Works with other groups to obtain necessary documentation and information needed to complete a permit request.
  • Provides status updates and reporting to other work groups as to status of various permitting requests.
  • Submits the permit requests to the required entities and sees the submittal through completion.
  • Becomes a valuable point of contact between Oncor and various permitting entities.
  • Works with minimal supervision.
  • Trustworthy, motivated, and able to gain respect and confidence of others in work group.
  • Promote and exhibit corporate citizenship.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years related permitting or project management experience.
  • Knowledge of real estate industries practices, procedures and documents.
  • Knowledge of the electrical utility industry desired.
  • Proven customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven team-building and organization skills.

  • Possesses the skills, knowledge, and expertise required to perform the essential aspects of the job.
