Internal Posting Katonah -Lewisboro School District Announces the Followin g Vacancy for the 2026-2027 School Year Permanent Substitute Teacher John Jay Middle School John Jay Middle School is seeking certified Permanent building substitute teachers for the 202 6-2027 school year to provide daily suppo rt to students when teachers are absent. Hours : 10 months - up to 4 days per week ; 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Anticipated Start Date: September 8, 2026 Salary & Benefits: $125.00 (Daily wage - Per Diem) Qualifications : NYS Teaching Certification or current enrollment in a program leading to NYS Teacher certification. Responsibilities: • Cover and teach classes when teachers are absent. • Must supervise multiple classes in larger areas at times, keep good attendance records . • Candidates are welcome to join departments for meetings and/or training.
