Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals

  • Provide skilled speech-language therapy using appropriate clinical techniques and evidence-based practices

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when appropriate

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, strategies, and recommendations

  • Participate in care planning and communicate patient progress with the interdisciplinary team

  • Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and overall quality of life

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for California licensure

  • ASHA certification or eligibility preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Compensation Details

For candidates with at least one year of SLP experience and beyond, the anticipated compensation range is $60–$65/hour, based on qualifications and experience.

For new graduates, compensation will be discussed separately and will be aligned with their level of experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
