Location: Cañon City, Colorado
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's functional needs and goals

  • Assist patients in improving independence with activities of daily living and functional tasks

  • Provide therapeutic activities focused on strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and functional performance

  • Monitor patient progress and communicate observations with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team

  • Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety

  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the care team

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging treatment environment

  • Follow facility policies, clinical standards, and applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) license or eligibility for licensure in Colorado

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • New graduates are welcome to apply
