What You'll Do
  • Receive specimens from phlebotomists and couriers, ensuring proper handling
  • Perform waived laboratory tests across areas like Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation
  • Enter patient data and test orders into the lab information system accurately
  • Monitor and maintain quality control of reagents and instruments
  • Conduct blood collection via venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Troubleshoot instrument, client, or computer issues as they arise
  • Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards
  • Manage specimen integrity, testing, and reporting with precision
  • Support inventory management and adhere to state and federal regulations
What You Need
  • Valid laboratory or clinical certification/licenses as required
  • Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle biological materials safely and effectively
  • Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods
