Radiologic Technologist Mobile X-Ray and EKG Services

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in providing mobile X-ray and EKG services across various healthcare facilities. Position Overview:
As a Mobile Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable X-rays and EKGs, at nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality images and diagnostic data to support patient care, working closely with clinical and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) and computed radiography (CR) equipment to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures. Submit or transmit images promptly to radiologists for interpretation.
- Transport, unload, and set up portable X-ray equipment at assigned facilities, ensuring all images are clinically diagnostic and technically appropriate.
- Conduct EKG tests when required, transmit results to Cardiologists for review, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol.
- Maintain efficient communication with dispatch, management, and healthcare staff, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service delivery.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks of X-ray and EKG equipment, as well as the service vehicle.
- Adhere to all safety standards, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification is mandatory (VMS certification preferred).
- Valid state licensure or ability to acquire prior to employment.
- Proven ability to produce diagnostically acceptable X-ray images.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in interactions with colleagues, clients, and patients.
- Physically capable of pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, with accommodations for heavier loads using equipment.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation.
