What Youll Do
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams accurately under the direction of Maternal-Fetal Medicine providers and the physician director of ultrasound.
- Assess imaging results, troubleshoot issues, and apply sound independent judgment and critical thinking.
- Assist physicians with procedures as requested.
- Recognize emergent situations and respond appropriately.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology during imaging and patient care activities.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
- Use imaging and clinical computer systems correctly while communicating professionally with physicians, coworkers, patients, and families.
What You Need
Required- Ability to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and procedures in an MFM setting.
- Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment and its appropriate use.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
