What Youll Do
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using portable sonographic equipment at various care facilities and service locations.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent images for radiologist interpretation.
- Process examinations and digitally transmit images to the interpreting radiologist.
- Verify exam orders against patient records and confirm patient identity using two identifiers before beginning procedures.
- Complete required exam-related paperwork and billing documentation according to established protocols.
- Communicate professionally with patients, facility staff, dispatch, call center personnel, supervisors, peers, and clients.
- Maintain the company vehicle and sonographic equipment, reporting equipment issues promptly.
What You Need
Required- ARDMS certification
- Ability to travel independently to assigned service locations
- Ability to operate portable ultrasound equipment and complete electronic documentation
- Basic smartphone and computer skills
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
- Successful completion of required drug screening and background check
- Medical physical examination, TB screening, and required infection-control training
Preferred- Experience providing mobile ultrasound services
- Knowledge of local geography and travel routes
- Ability to train other technologists as needed
