What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care to veterans in the outpatient clinic
- Manage patient health plans, including diagnostics, lab results, and follow-up care
- Offer health education and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure timely same-day access for face-to-face, telehealth, and phone visits
- Supervise and collaborate with clinic staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and clinic activities
What You Need
- Medical license in Pennsylvania
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (ABMS or BOS)
- Prescriptive authority in Pennsylvania
- Willingness to train in Women’s Health exams
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to pass VA background checks
- Proven clinical experience in primary care preferred
About the Assignment
This position is at a community-based VA outpatient clinic in Pottsville, committed to providing exceptional healthcare to veterans.
