What You’ll Do
- Lead and provide comprehensive neonatal care for infants in a Level III NICU
- Manage a high-acuity patient population with an average daily census of 25–29 infants
- Support annual NICU admissions of approximately 370–400 and 3,400–3,900 deliveries annually
- Deliver advanced interventions including high-frequency ventilation and therapeutic hypothermia
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with pediatric subspecialists such as cardiology and surgery
- Support well-baby rounding twice per month in partnership with residency programs
- Provide leadership and mentorship within a team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
What You Need
Required:- Medical license in South Carolina or ability to obtain one
- Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship and eligibility for boards
- Ability to manage high-acuity neonatal patients in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills
Preferred:- Previous experience in a Level III NICU setting
- Experience with advanced neonatal interventions and multidisciplinary teamwork
