    What You’ll Do:
    • Provide expert clinical care in a high-acuity Level IIIB NICU with approximately 625 admissions annually
    • Serve as Practice Medical Director, overseeing clinical operations, provider performance, and quality initiatives
    • Lead efforts to improve patient safety and care quality standards
    • Drive neonatal program development and clinical innovation
    • Collaborate with hospital leadership and academic partners to expand neonatal services
    • Participate in teaching and scholarly activities with medical students, residents, and fellows
    • Mentor pediatric residents and support research projects
    • Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork with maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery specialists
    • Utilize advanced neonatal therapies including high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide

    What You Need:
    Required:
    • MD or DO with Board Certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
    • VA medical license or eligible for licensure
    • Experience in neonatal intensive care and leadership roles
    • Strong clinical skills and passion for academic medicine
