Quick Facts- Location: Macon, GA (888 Pine Street, Georgia, 31201)
- Start Date: Flexible, ASAP
- End Date/Duration: Ongoing, with 26-week commitment per year
- Shift: 1 week on / 1 week off; daily rounds with on-call from home every other night
- Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Full-time employed physician
- License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent neonatal ICU experience preferred

What You’ll Do- Provide expert neonatal care in a Level-III NICU setting
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate treatment plans for neonates
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subspecialists
- Participate in clinical teaching and supervision of residents and nurse practitioners
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
- Contribute to the care of complex neonatal cases using ventilatory support, nitric oxide, and brain cooling techniques
What You Need- Valid Georgia medical license and authorization to practice neonatology
- Certification or eligibility in Neonatology (BC or BE)
- At least 2 years' NICU experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and cooling procedures
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
