What Youll Do
- Provide inpatient pediatric and pediatric critical care services
- Care for patients in a 6-bed pediatric intensive care unit
- Support pediatric patients on the inpatient floor
- Provide consultation for pediatric emergency department cases
- Perform procedures including intubations, lumbar punctures, line and chest tube placement, and CPR
- Coordinate care with Level III NICU support and available specialty services
- Participate in teaching opportunities with a family medicine residency program
What You Need
Required- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care
- OR Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology with an additional year of CICU training
- Ability to provide full-time, permanent coverage
- Willingness to reside in the immediate local area
- Pediatric inpatient and critical care clinical capabilities
Preferred- Interest in teaching and working with family medicine residents
- Experience managing pediatric intensive care patients and performing critical care procedures

This opportunity is based at a leading facility in Summerville, South Carolina, offering pediatric inpatient and critical care services, a 6-bed PICU, Level III NICU support, pediatric emergency consultation, and access to onsite pediatric surgery, gastroenterology, ENT, and anesthesia services. A quaternary care center is available for telephone consultation, and the area is approximately 30 minutes from Charleston.
