What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal care, including conducting rounds and managing clinics
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, at hospital-affiliated endoscopy center
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including APPs and support staff
- Participate in patient education, documentation, and follow-up care
- Contribute to teaching and academic opportunities through GME program if desired
- Maintain certification and stay current with industry practices
What You Need
- Medical license in Michigan
- Board Eligible/Certified in Gastroenterology (must become certified within 1 year if eligible)
- ERCP certification preferred
- 5-8 years of GI experience (post-residency/fellowship)
- Key skills: clinical expertise in GI, procedural proficiency, team collaboration
- Industry certifications (ITIL, PMP) preferred but not required
